Abstract:
Communicating science is a task that is learnt by doing. But a set of principles and ideas can help speeding up this (never-ending) learning process. In this workshop, we will go through some of these ideas and see how they are applied in practical examples. We will analyze collectively examples written by others and carry out a writing exercise ourselves. The workshop is designed to provide a gradual familiarization with basic techniques in science writing, through collective discussions and hands-on exercises.
